Rita Jane (Pfeiffer) Arns, age 93, of Lansing, Illinois passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2016. Born March 23, 1923 in Buffalo, NY, Jane, as family and friends knew her, was the daughter of the late William and Mabel Pfeiffer. Jane married the late Elmer Arns in 1955 after her first husband, Donald Felton, passed away unexpectedly of an illness. Her son, Donald Felton, also precedes Jane in death. She is survived by her daughter Cindi (Michael) Maus of Tinley Park, IL; son, Jack (Diane) Arns of New Auburn, Calif.; grandchildren, Brett & Adam (Cori) Maus, Kelly (Tod) Benson, Michael (Traci) Felton, Sean (Melissa) Felton, Christopher (Jaymie) Arns, Laura Arns, Mark Arns, Bill (JoLynn) Arns, Norm (Debbie) Arns; great grandchildren, Abby Felton, McKenna Jane Felton, Jake and Ella Benson, and Camille Arns. We will be celebrating Jane's life on April 28th at 10:00am at St. John Church located at 301 S Cottage Grove in Glenwood, IL. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be made in her memory to: American Heart Association.
