She was born in Marysville, CA, where she attended Marysville High School. At a young age, she married the love of her life, Herb Brown. They were married for 60 years before his passing. Thelma and Herb were one of the first members at the Peach Tree Country Club. Thelma loved golfing, socializing, dancing, and playing bridge. She also loved her family and all our family gatherings.
Thelma is survived by her son; her daughter; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her sister.
She will be missed by all, but it gives us great comfort knowing she is with our dad in heaven.
The family would like to thank Sutter Estates and Emerald Oaks for their wonderful care. A special thank you to Dr. Jodhani, Tara Sanwal, and Rita Hammill.
A celebration of her life will be held at Sutter Cemetery on Friday, April 1, 2016 at 11 am.
