Ethel Scaggs, 100, of Dutch Run Road, Beaver, Ohio, went to be with her Lord at 9:30 p.m. Thursday 14 April 2016 at her home. She was born 9 February 1916 in Ferguson, West Virginia the daughter of the late William Albert Clark and Laura (Watts) Clark. On 7 September 1931 Ethel was united in marriage to John Henry Scaggs who preceded her in death on 12 February 1978. Surviving are two sons of Chillicothe, Ohio, daughter, of Beaver, Ohio, 14 grandchildren including her granddaughter, with whom she made her home, 21 great grandchildren, 31 great great grandchildren, 1 great great great grandson and three sisters and a host of nieces and nephews. Ethel was a member of the Little Ettie Old Regular Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, 18 April 2016 at the BOYER FUNERAL HOME, Waverly with Elders, Buddy Carty, Teddy Honaker, Greg Sowards and Danny Carty, officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Union Cemetery, Waverly, Ohio. Friends may call at the Boyer Funeral Home from 5 – 8 p.m. Sunday and from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour on Monday.
