She was born in Chicago on August 18, 1936 to Andrew and Ethel (Pease) Dipple.
Virginia worked for Oak Manufacturing for over 25 years and then went on to serve as Production Control Manager at Autotrol for over 10 years. She was a true artist and enjoyed drawing and painting. She loved gardening. She also enjoyed doing crafts and quilting, making quilts for her entire family. Most of all, she loved her family and she cherished the time they spent together.
She is survived by her son, David Gizel; her daughter, Donna (Tracy) Juchcinski; her daughter-in-law, Patricia Gizel; her grandchildren, Dave, Mike, Emily, Patrick (Tarahka), Dane, Veronica, Lori, Melissa, Joshua (Demo); 15 great grandchildren who always called her “Grandma Giggles;” her sister, Alberta; and her godson, John Brush.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Donald Gizel; and her sister, Marie.
A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 from 4-8pm at Christ the King Catholic Church, 5006 E Wonder Lake Rd, Wonder Lake, IL 60097. The memorial mass will be celebrated at 11am on Thursday, April 21, 2016 with burial to follow at Christ the King Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials can be made to Christ the King Catholic Church of Wonder Lake.
