Elvira Behne
Elvira C. Behne, 73, of 700 Barrett St., died at 545 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 12, 1993, at Burlington Medical Center's Klein Unit, where she had been a patient for three weeks.

Born Jan. 23, 1920, at Burlington, she was the daughter of Carl Henry and Agnes Larson Wemhoener. On May 1, 1941, she married Paul Walter Behne in Burlington. He died Aug. 1, 1992.

She was a graduate of Burlington High School and Burlington Business College.

Mrs. Behne was a homemaker and a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and its Altar and Rosary Society.

Survivors include three sons, four daughters, a sister, 22 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, and a brother.
