Mary Ann Marts, 71, of Lucas, Iowa passed away on Saturday April 16, 2016 at Circle of Life Legacy Lodge of Chariton, Iowa. Mary Ann was born on July 24, 1944 at Green City, Missouri.
Mary Ann was a member of the Eagles and she enjoyed living on a farm, hunting and fishing and spending time with family and friends. She was a member of the Norwood Assembly of God Church.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Ruth Paige of Chariton, Iowa, her husband, Wayne Marts of Lucas, Iowa, a son, Wayne Lee Marts of Lucas, Iowa
She is survived by two sons, Charles (Bob) Marts and wife Carrie of Chariton, Iowa and Brett Marts of Lucas, Iowa. Six grandchildren: Holly Carter (Erich) of Melcher-Dallas, Nathaniel Marts of Chariton, Natalie Marts of Chariton, Tanner Bower of Creston, Matt Marts (Ashley) of North Carolina, Nick Marts (Cheyanna) of Osceola. Three great-granddaughters, Isabella, Chloe and Abigail of Melcher-Dallas.
