Mrs. Bell Cora Bowling, 70, Idabel, widow of the late Jim Bowling, died at 4:20 p.m. Thursday.


Born September 19, 1877, near Tyler, Texas, she had resided in McCurtain County since 1910, moving from Arkansas. She was a member of the Baptist church.


Survivors are two sons, Sanford Bowling, Wright City, and Buery Bowling, Oklahoma City; two daughters, Mrs. S.H. Holder and Mrs. Ed Bonner, both of Idabel; one brother, Bob Cannon, Hughes Springs, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Mida Austin, Alabama, and Mrs. Beulah Baldwin, Inez, Texas; and seven grandchildren.


Funeral services were held at 3:30 p.m. Friday at the Wright City Baptist Church with Rev. F.F. Franklin officiating.


Burial in Wright City Cemetery was under direction of Wilson Funeral Home.
