Bruce was a grumpy old man and a curmudgeon who had a hard life, but loved his family very much. He was born in Philadelphia and served in the Navy during Vietnam while managing to completely avoid that country. He also played acoustic guitar in his youth, playing folk music and was once offered a job playing with another Philadelphia native that was his age, Jim Croce. He was a good man who is, and will continue to be, missed.
