Kunkle Rites
Services for Mrs. Sarah Malinda Kunkle, 97, will be at 11 Wednesday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, of which she was a member. The Rev. Robert T. Kunz will officiate, and interment will be at Mount Auburn cemetery. The body will be removed from Heaton-Bowman mortuary and taken to the church one hour before service time.
Mrs. Kunkle, the widow of John A. Kunkle, died Monday night at the family home, 1712 Paris avenue. A native of Mount Carmel, Ill., she had lived here most of her life.
Survivors include three sons, Clarence and John Kunkle, of the home, and Roy Kunkle, St. Joseph; six daughters, Mrs. Ada L. Keyon, San Diego; Mrs. Edith Blaylock, of the home; Mrs. Mabel M. Tooley, Salem, Ore.; Mrs. Hazel Gardner, Mrs. Faye Brown and Mrs. Ethel Stanton, all of St. Joseph; 23 grandchildren; 61 great-grandchildren and 21 great-great-grandchildren.
