Stephen Anthony Vail, 63 of Hanson, formerly of Stoughton, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2015 after a long illness. Born in Brookline on June 21, 1951, he was the son of the late William J. and Helen L. (Gudinski) Vail. He worked as a metal fabricator and he was an outdoorsman who loved fishing, camping, and biking. He adored his grandchildren and was a hard working, loving husband.
Stephen was the beloved husband of Linda (Berryman) Vail. He is survived by his son Lucas W. Vail and his wife Jennifer of Canton. He was the grandfather of Abby, Katie, and Sam Vail, all of Canton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Homes, 2 Maquan Street, Corner Rte. 14 & 58, HANSON, on Friday from 4-8 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11 AM at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Fern Hill Cemetery, Hanson.
