Dean Willard Bott, 77, of Findlay, Ohio, passed away April 16, 2016. Dean was born September 16, 1938 to the late Helen (Kosch) and Mark Bott. Thanks is extended to Kindred At Home Hospice, and his long time personal aides, Jamie Austin and Julie Martin, his regular aide, Adrianne VanAtta and recently Jessica Pelton and the aides from CareTakers. He is survived by his daughters, Trisha Bott (Tim Wohlgamuth), Tonya Bott (Victor Spellen) and Tiffani Martin (Tom), grandchildren, Layne Martin, Zach Wohlgamuth, Andy Martin, Paige Wohlgamuth, Zoe Spellen and Sedona Spellen, siblings, Jimmie Roger Bott (Pam), Lotta Kay Bosserman (Larry) and Harry "Butch" Bott (Beth). Dean married Pamela Lee Snyder. Dean played multiple sports in high school but had a special passion for basketball. He coached several Young Miss Softball teams and enjoyed filming the University of Findlay football and basketball teams from the early 1980s until 2000. Dean was awarded a Distinguished Service Award by the Litter Board. Dean served in the National Guard from 1961 to 1967 where he was honored as Outstanding Soldier of 1963. Dean retired in 1998 from Atlas Inc., in Fostoria, as a Manufacturing Engineer. He worked for Defiance Precision Products, in Upper Sandusky. Visitation will be held at COLDREN CRATES FUNERAL HOME April 21, 11am - 2pm and 5pm - 8pm. A celebration of Dean's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Dean's honor can be made to Salvation Army, which Dean benefitted from as a child or the YMCA.
