Eric Carlson and Alice Welk were married on November 6, 1948. They lived in Peoria, IL and summered in Green Lake, WI.

RESIDENT OF AREA DIES AT AGE OF 59

Eric N. Carlson, 59, Forest Avenue, Green Lake, died Thursday at Mercy Medical Center, Oshkosh, after a lingering illness.

Born in Sweden Sept. 9, 1910, he was a retired carpenter. He married Alice Welk Nov. 6, 1948.

He was a member of the Peoria (Ill.) Moose Lodge, of Carpenters Local 108 of Peoria and of Willis-Chapel American Legion Post of Green Lake. He served in World War II.

Mr. Carlson is survived by his widow and by one brother and three sisters who live in Sweden.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon, the Rev. Homer Retzlaff officiating. Burial will be in Reiser Cemetery in the Town of Princeton, Green Lake County.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon. Funeral arrangements were made by Lewis D. Egbert of Green Lake.
