William F. Look arrived @ early St. Andrews Bay when his parents moved to the area in the late 1890s and built a winter home. Mrs. Sarah R. Mason Look was an aunt to George M. West. He had encouraged the Looks to travel from Escanaba, Delta Co., MI to St. Andrews Bay, FL after West had earlier purchased property here in 1886.

W.F. Look was married to widowed Laura E. Read Jenks June 14, 1911 at then Washington/now Bay Co., FL. He legally adopted Carita M. Jenks Look (b. 1908 Panama City, FL-d. 2010 CA); son James Henry Look was born 11 Nov. 1912 @ Panama City, FL - d.12 Nov.1995 @ Baldwin Co., AL).

W.F. Look was involved in almost all aspects of the early business interests of Panama City. He was employed in many real estate interests as the area grew. He was employed with the Minor C. Keith Properties, the Lynn Haven Hotel, the Bank of Panama City, The Gulf Coast Development Company, The Panama City Chamber of Commerce, served as the 1st Secretary of the St. Andrews Bay Telephone Co. and promoted the Bay County area throughout his lifetime.

He and his wife were Charter Members of St. Andrews Episcopal Church in 1915. Church Records provide & verify his date of death and place of internment "Greenwood Cemetery".
