Son of Joseph Arthur Lessard and Domatilde Gravel. Born in Bay City, Bay County, Michigan, USA. His family moved to Bay City for work about 1881, returning to Ottawa after 1892.

Lessard, Frank Daniel - At his home, 1484 Chomley Crescent, Friday, Aug. 20, 1971, in his 83rd years, beloved husband of the late Lucilla Adams, beloved father of Mrs. Mildred Maloney, Mrs. Adrienne Comerford, Mrs. J. C. Vrooman (Elsa), Frank, Alfred, Ossie and Ernie, all of Ottawa; brother of T. O. Lessard, Princeton, BC, uncle of Mrs. Earl Beaudrie and Arthur Valade, Bell River, Ont., also survived by 15 grand-children and 12 great-grand-children. Member of St. Andrews Lodge AF and AM, Resting Hulse and Playfair central chapel, 315 McLeod Street. Service Monday 11 a.m. Interment Pinecrest cemetery.
