"MADISON — Mrs. Kathryn C. Georgeson, age 74, of 1855 Briarwood Lane, died on Monday, September 26, 1983, at a local hospital. She was born September 2, 1909, in Clyde, Wisconsin. She was the former Kathryn Moore; and was married to Alvin Georgeson on June 6, 1927. She had worked in partnership with her husband at the Food Center Grocery on Mills and Regent Streets. Mrs. Georgeson was a member of St. James Catholic Church and the Catholic Order of Foresters. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. James C. (Elaine) Case of Idaho Falls,Idaho, Patrica A. Georgeson of Madison, and Mrs. Lawrence (Janis) Gessler of Oregon; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Julia Bander and Mrs. Bernice Bluell both of Madison. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin, November 1980; a sister; and two brothers. Funeral services will be held at ST. JAMES CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1134 St. James Court, at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 28, 1983. The Reverend William DeBock will officiate. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery."
