Grace Ada Hart, 83, of Whitney, passed away on April 11, 2016 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, April 15, 2016 at Porter Funeral Home Chapel, with Donna Turner, officiating. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery in Kirvin.

Ms. Hart was born on December 13, 1932 in Mexia, Texas to Ike & Myrtle Powell Horton. She was a dedicated wife, mother and homemaker.

Survivors include her sons, James Leslie Hart & wife, Cliffphonia and Steve Hart & wife, Ginger; daughter, Carolyn Ruth Paul & husband, Gary; numerous grandchildren & great-grandchildren; brother, Jack Horton; as well as numerous nieces & nephews.
