Ed was born at 3645 Clay Street, grew up there, lived his senior years, and died there. He graduated from Denver North HS and the University of Denver with a BS degree in Chemistry. After graduation he worked as a chemist for a flour mill in CO. During WWII he transitioned to work for the Army Air Corps, where, as a civilian, he taught our brave airman about their aircraft operation in SD. He continued as a civil servant after the war, lived at Rantoul, IL and worked at Chanute AFB. While living there he took care of his father. After retirement, Ed returned to his parents home in Denver, which enabled many relatives to enjoy his pleasant company and listen to his many stories.
