Samuel F. DeLong, husband of Charlotte (Faust) DeLong, died yesterday at his home, 712 Walnut St., Allentown, after an illness of several weeks. He was 72.
Born in Ballietsville, he was a son of the late David DeLong and Ellen Troxell. He retired as a salesman several years ago.
Surviving besides his wife are a daughter Van Reed B. Butz, at home, and a sister, Maggie, wife of Robert Lapp, Ballietsville.
Services will be at the convenience of the family. Viewing will be 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the J. S. Burkholder Funeral Home, 1601 Hamilton St., Allentown.
