VIRDEN - Mrs. Virginia Helmerichs, 51, of Virden died at 12:50 a.m. Sunday at St. John's Hospital in Springfield.
Surviving are her husband, Herman; three daughters, Mrs. Wanda Arnold and Mrs. Gloria Tibbs, both of Springfield; and Mrs. Janet Jennings, of Virden; three sons, A.C, 2.C. Keith Helmerichs, of Norfolk, Va.; Windle and Wayne, both of Virden; six grandchildren; and four brothers, Alvas [sic?] Skeens, of Virden; Lowell Skeens, of Grafton; David Skeens, of Troy; and Allen Butcher, of Virden.
Services were in Trinity Lutheran Church, Auburn.
Burial was in Virden Cemetery.
