Dorothy L. Abbott, 68, of Newark, DE and Elkton, MD, died on Saturday, June 17, 2000, at Christiana Hospital.
Mrs. Abbott graduated from Rockport High School, Evans-ville, IN in 1949. She was a homemaker, and she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Her husband, George E. Abbott, Sr.; children, Carol Webb of Newark DE, George Abbott, Jr. of Clarksville VA, Kathy Hampton of North East MD, Jackie Maguire of Wilmington DE; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren survive her. Her children Jeanette and Ralph Abbott predeceased her.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30am on Tuesday, June 20 at SPICER-MULLIKIN FUNERAL HOME, 1000 N. DuPont Hwy., Wilm. Manor, New Castle, DE. Interment in Gracelawn Memorial Park, Minquadale. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 6-8 pm.
