Edith E. Collins, 80, of 200 Granger Street, Arcadia died Monday January 27, in a local hospital after an extended illness. She was born in Bayonne, New Jersey and had lived in Arcadia for six years. Survivors include three daughters; Helen M. Collins, Arcadia, Mrs. Virginia C. Harper, Atlanta, Georgia, and Mrs. Bonnie Pflug, Port Charlotte.
Funeral services were held Thursday, January 30, 1969, at 2 o’clock from the Robarts-Grady Chapel with Rev. Drennon Cottingham, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment followed in Oak Ridge Cemetery with Robarts-Grady Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
