William A. Braun, 92, of 209 S. Third, died this morning Dec. 14, at Allen County Hospital.
He was born March 15, 1889, near Raytown, Mo., and came to Iola area in 1928. For many years Braun farmed and was employed in local oil fields. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.
On Feb. 11, 1932, he was united in marriage to Edna E. Couzins in Iola. She died in 1968.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Waugh-Yokum Funeral Home. The William Travis will officiate. The graveside service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Brooking Cemetery, Raytown.
