The former Mabel Milligan was born Sept. 19, 1886, at South Worcester, N.Y., and married Charles R. Addis on Jan. 2, 1910, at Victoria. He died March 1, 1951.
Surviving are a son, I.W. “Bill” of Orion; a daughter, Mrs. Don (Maurine) Parson, Chetek, Wis.; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Mr. Addis attended elementary schools in Galesburg and was graduated from Victoria High School.
Funeral will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Johnson-Gill-Schuster Chapel, with Rev. James Hancock, pastor of First United Methodist Church, Galva, officiating. Burial will be at Linwood Cemetery, Galesburg. Friends may call Monday after 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

GALVA – Funeral for Mrs. Mabel E. Addis, 87, of Galva, who died Saturday at Leisure Hills Health Center, Kewanee, was Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Johnson-Gill-Schuster Chapel, with Rev. James W. Hancock, pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial was at Linwood Cemetery, Galesburg. Pallbearers were Klement Draksler, Claire Binder, Dan Swedeen, Willard Nelson, Elmer Jordan and Willard Peterson.
