Marion L. (Pinkham) Andrews, 85, died at the Kindred Goddard Rehab. Center in Stoughton on Monday, December 25 after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Ralph J. Andrews.

Born in Somerville, she was educated in Braintree schools. Mrs. Andrews was a longtime resident of Quincy. She was a reporter and correspondent for the Patriot Ledger in Quincy for many years before becoming the Director of Council of Aging for the City of Quincy. She was the Director for several years before retiring 20 years ago. In her free time she was an avid Bingo player and loved the Red Sox.

Mrs. Andrews is survived by her son, Ralph J. "Gus" Andrews, Jr. and his wife Janet of Stoughton, as well as her grandchildren, Craig Pestilli of Hanson, Michelle McCann, Mark Andrews and Matt Andrews all of Stoughton and Melissa Andrews of Brockton. She is also survived by her son-in-law, Bruce Pestilli of Whitman and 8 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Joan Pestilli and 6 brothers.

Funeral Prayers will be offered from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, December 29 at 11 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday 4-8 PM.

Burial will take place at Pine Hill Cemetery in Quincy.
