GREENUP - Ellen Nadine Ledbetter, age 80 of Greenup went to live with the Lord at 1:03 p.m. Saturday, January 30, 2010 at the Cumberland Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Greenup, IL. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 4, 2010 at the Bishop Funeral Home in Greenup, IL with Brooke Davis officiating. Burial will be in the Jack Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1 hour before the service. Nadine was born on June 17, 1929 in Benton, IL the daughter of Roy and Fultie (Nunn) Thurmond. She married Randall Ledbetter on January 29, 1952. Nadine was a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother. Nadine is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Randall Ledbetter of Greenup, IL; 2 Daughters, Madelyn (Randy) Black and Marilyn Greeson both of Greenup, IL; 4 grandchildren, Denice (husband David) Richmond and Felisha Kuhn both of Atlanta, GA; Kyle Greeson and Whitney Black both of Greenup, IL; 3 great grandchildren, Kobyn Black, Brayden Richmond and Jaylin Housel; 2 Sisters, Pauline Crabb and Marchetta Lambert both of Harrisburg, IL and several nieces nephews. Nadine was preceded in death by one son Dennis Gene; parents; step father Alva Wade; two brothers Ed and Eugene Thurmond and a sister Vivian DeMoss. Nadine will sadly missed by her family and friends.
