David Lewis Abbott, Jr. 73 of Harrisburg, died Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Hershey Medical Center.
Mr. Abbott was born in Cumberland, MD and was the son of the late David L and Irene (Breighner) Abbott. He was retired from Union Local# 520, where he was a pipefitter/welder for 30 years. He was a member of the F&AM.
Mr. Abbott is survived by his daughter, Ursula (Sean) Abbott Connolly of New York, NY; his son, Jason (Annette) Abbott of Harrisburg; his grandchildren, Jason Lewis Abbott, Jr., Jack David Connolly, Kathryn Connolly, T.J. and Joseph Heckman.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at 11 A.M. at the Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, 6150 Allentown Blvd., Harrisburg. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, from 6 to 8 P.M. at the Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 6011 Linglestown Rd., Harrisburg.
