Mr. Victor Aaron "Ronch" Holden age 61, of Vancleave, MS, died Sunday April 24, 2016, in Vancleave, MS. Victor was born December 6, 1954 and was a lifelong resident of Vancleave.
He served his country in the United States Army and was employed at Ingalls Shipbuilding for 40 years until he retired in 2014. Victor loved his wife and family dearly. He also had a passion for hunting, fishing, gardening and Ole Miss football. If you ever watched an Ole Miss game with Ronch, it was an experience you would never forget. His enthusiasm for the team was boundless.
He is preceded in death by parents; Barbara Jane Cole Holden and Harry Eugene "Bobby" Holden, his mother-in-law, Dorothy Prassenos Baxter.
His survivors who will always cherish their memories of him, include his wife; Mariea Prassenos Holden, daughters, Nancy (Ted) Lane, of Theodore, Al, Jane (Darren) VanDevender, of Vancleave, MS, sons, Neal and Ethan Holden, both of Vancleave, MS; grandchildren; Chloe Waltman and Wilson VanDevender, sisters; Sis (Pat) Burlison, Ocean Springs, MS and Deedy Blair of Vancleave, MS, and brothers; Monty (Susan) Holden and Kyle(Melanie) Holden, both of Vancleave, MS, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Pallbearers will be, Ethan Holden, Monty Holden, Kyle Holden, Garrett Goff, Glenn Roberts, Andrew Woods and Greg Goff. Honorary pallbearers are Bart Holden, Josh Holden, Darren VanDevender, Bobby Duncan, Darnell Goff, Louis Havens, Billy Barry and Dalton McMillian.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2016 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Holder-Wells Funeral Home, Moss Point, MS. The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM from the funeral home chapel with Brother Randy Johnson and Brother Wake Inabinette officiating.
Burial will follow at Vancleave No #1 cemetery, Jim Ramsey Road, Vancleave, MS.
