ROSELAND THE SCENE OF PRETTY HOME WEDDING
Roseland, Jan. 4. – Miss Anna M. Rath, youngest daughter of Mrs. Sophia Rath of Roseland, and Eugene J. Vane of Walworth, were united in marriage at the Lutheran Church at Roseland, January 8th, at 3 o’clock. The bride was attired in white crepe meteor with trimming of dutchess lace and pearls and carried a shower bouquet of yellow jonquils. She was attended by her niece, Miss Ethel Goers of Irondequoit, who wore pale green silk with shadow lace trimmings and carried white tulips. Philip Vane, brother of the groom, was groomsman. Following the ceremony a wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride’s mother. Guests were present from Irondequoit, Fairport, Walworth and Rochester. After a short Western trip, the couple will be at home one mile south of Union Hill.

April 25, 1970, Anna Vane of 1490 Ridge Rd., Webster, N.Y. She is survived by her husband, Eugene; one son, Norman E. of Penfield; one daughter, Mrs. Carlyle (Doris) Darron of Walworth; three grandchildren, also several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to call at the Smith and Lotze Funeral Chapel, 10 Lapham Park, Webster, 2-4 and 7-9 where services will be held Wednesday at 2 o’clock. Interment, Webster Rural Cemetery, Rev. John Crilley officiating. Those wishing may make contribution to the memorial fund of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Penfield.
