"My mother peacefully passed away on April 21, 2016 in hospice care at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, Ohio. With respect to her wishes, a private burial will occur at a later date at Portage Cemetery, in Portage, Ohio. A private toast in my mother's honor will be raised at her favorite restaurant, Granite City Food & Brewery, in The Shops at Fallen Timbers in Maumee, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, please direct memorial contributions to: The Wood County Historical Society Tea Series—My mother found great joy in volunteering for the tea series.
