He was a member of the Protestant Church.

Pallbearers will be Gordon Bassett, Carroll Bassett, Carl Bassett, Elmer Bassett, Charles Lewis, Gary Rowe, Henry Baker and Carl Cravens. Interment will be in Barton Cemetery, Edgewood, N.M.
