Betty Jean Hendrix, age 67, of Mount Vernon, MO died on Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at the Mt. Vernon Place Care Center in Mt Vernon, MO.
Mrs. Hendrix was born in Kansas City, MO on Friday, February 04, 1949.
She was the daughter of Eugene and Sarah (Neely) Smith.
Betty Jean Smith married Billie Joe Hendrix on August 8, 1984, and he preceded her in death on September 24, 2008.
Mrs. Hendrix was a member of the Mt. Vernon Christian Church in Mt. Vernon, MO.
Surviving are the following: two daughters, Cindy Martz of Mount Vernon, MO and Edwina Manning of Mount Vernon, MO; two sons, Dustin Hudson of Stotts City, MO and Allen Hudson of Stotts City, MO; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Mt. Vernon Christian Church in Mt. Vernon, MO on Thursday, April 28, 2016, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
Funeral services will be held at the Mt. Vernon Christian Church in Mt. Vernon, MO on Friday, April 29, 2016, beginning at 10:00 AM with Pastor Mark Engler officiating.
Burial will be at the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Springfield, MO on Monday, May 2, 2016, at 3:00 P.M.
