Henry Len Cash, 89, of Millbrae, California, passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2016.
A Memorial service will be held March 4, 2016, at Cypress Lawn Loy Linebarger officiating. A Celebration of Life Reception will follow the memorial service at Cypress Lawn Reception Center. Memorial arrangements are being handled by Cypress Lawn 1370 El Camino Real Colma, California 94014.
Henry was born in Charlie, Texas on December 7, 1926. He was the ninth of nine children born to Elder Henry Adkin Cash and Ada Lloyd Cash.
He was the Director of Engineering for California Pacific Medical Center from 1974-1993, and a retired member of Local 39. He enjoyed hunting, fly fishing, horseback riding and travel. Henry served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII in the Pacific Theater; a member of the American Legion Post 1000, Southern Pacific Hospital Employees Veteran Association, American Society for Hospital Engineering, a Life member of the NRA, Coastside Sportsmen's Club, California Huntsmen, and South San Francisco Rod & Gun Club.
Henry is survived by wife Lais Henderson-Cash, and sister Mary Cash Howard of Gonzales, LA, and many loving relatives and friends.
Henry is preceded in death by his parents and siblings Juanita Cash, Ellie Cash, Eugene Cash, Lessie Cash Morgan, Pauline Cash Kane, Lorene Cash Brodgen, and Essie Cash Phariss.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society 71 Stevenson St, Suite 400 S. F, CA 94105 and The San Francisco Food Bank 900 Pennsylvania Ave. S.F., CA 94107.
