LJ was born in Roseboro, AR to Lindle and Iva Johnson. He graduated from Springfield High School in 1947. He married Ruby Huggins in September 1948, his wife of 67 years. He retired from Borden Chemical. He is survived by his wife, Ruby, his son, Johnny, 3 grandchildren, Judd, Michelle, and Kimberley, 11 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. LJ's loves were his family, fishing, hunting, and golfing. Services held at Springfield Memorial Funeral Home on Monday, May 2, 2016.
