Mr. Jake Strating, aged 96, of Jenison, went home to be with his Lord, Monday morning, June 9, 2003.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rena and grandson, Ross Meppelink.
Surviving are his four children; 15 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law; special friend, Eva Bruins; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral and committal services will be held at Twelfth Avenue Christian Reformed Church, 7551 12th Ave., Jenison, on Wednesday at 3 PM, with Rev. Laryn Zoerhof officiating. Interment Georgetown Township Cemetery.
Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Brookcrest Renovation Community Room.
