Mrs. Birdie Sullivan
Mrs. Birdie Sullivan, 85, of Mize died Dec. 30 at Magee General Hospital. The Smith County native was a member of Holliness Church of God.
Funeral services were conducted at Mims Mitchell Chapel Dec. 31 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Billy Guest officiating Burial was in Aion (Sic Zion) Hill Cemetery and Mims Mitchell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Survivors include one son. Lenord C. Sullivan of Meridian; four daughters. Mrs. Maggie Lee Brooks of Lucedale, Mrs. Ella Nobles of Pelahatchie, Mrs. Fannie Robinson of Jackson and Mrs. Bobbie Allbritton of Magee; two brothers. Hillard Spell of Magee and Carl Spell of Pascagoula: four sisters. Mrs. Lillie Dickerson of Maband, Tex., Mrs. Minnie Davis of Ellisville, Mrs. Connie Adiar of Tulsa. Okla. and Mrs. Joannah Strause of Mt. Olive: and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Birdie Spell Sullivan was the wife of Luther Benjamin Sullivan.
She was the daughter of Samuel Loten Spell and Fannie Elizabeth Dickerson Spell.
Her daughter did tell me her mother remarried one time but she stayed with him for maybe two weeks said he was mean so she left and never saw him again. I don't remember his name.
