Mattie Heatherly age 79 of Lafollette passed away June 29, 2011 at St. Mary’s Campbell County. Mattie was a very loving wife of 59 years, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed sewing and spending time taking care of her family.

Preceded in death by Parents: Lee and Marie Claxton Stagnolia

Survived by: Husband: Ira Heatherly of Lafollette, Son: Ira (Micky) and wife Greer Heatherly of Sweetwater, TN. Daughter: Katie and husband Jim Turner of Jacksboro. Brothers: Steve and wife Jackie Stagnolia of Heiskell, TN, Stan and wife Vickie Stagnolia of Lake City, Tn. Sister: Essie Kitts of Lafollette. Grandchildren: Adam and Aaron Heatherly, Paula and Joe Madron and Matthew and Missy Turner. Great-grandchildren: Jacob, Mitchell, Myranda and Colton and many loving nieces and nephews and friends.

There will be a gathering of family and close friends Friday July 1st, 2011 from 6 PM to 7 PM in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Smith officiating. The family has asked in lieu of flowers please make donations to The Campbell County Cancer Association 124 Woodvine St. Jacksboro, TN. In care of Clarence Lowe.
