Aaron Mitchell Morgan. On April 12, 2004, at the age of 6, Aaron Mitchell Morgan let his brave soul go to God. Aaron's gentle nature, bright laugh and warm hugs will be missed by all who knew him. Though is life was short, it was filled with purpose. His struggles and his courageous response to them inspired the lives of many. His spirit united the hearts of many people through love, creating an extended family. Aaron's memory will forever live in the hearts of his mother, Wanda Morgan; father and stepmother, Cam and Shannon Morgan; three sisters, Chante' Smith, Aleiya and Courtney Morgan; three brothers, Nicholas, Neifert and John Morgan; grandparents, Aneita Roberts, Mitch and Barbara Morgan, Lou Mills as well as many aunts, uncles and many special friends. A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, April 15, 2004 at Simpson-Tharp Chapel, 5160 Peters Creek Road, Roanoke. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
