Funeral services for Billie Jean White, 86, of Fort Gibson, OK, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, April 29, 2016 at the First United Methodist Church in Fort Gibson with Reverend Barry Collins officiating.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be great-grandsons. Burial will be in Holland Cemetery in Tahlequah, OK, under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Service of Fort Gibson.

Billie was born September 6, 1929 in Arkansas the daughter of Ira Admire Cordell and Pearl Electra (Rhoden) Cordell and died on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Muskogee.

On July 14, 1947 she married the love of her life, George Harmon White Sr, in Fayetteville, AR. They were married 62 years at the time of his passing on February 24, 2010.

Billie retired from Corning Glass and then worked 15 years as a beautician.

Survivors include her children, Donna (Bob) Admire of Morris, OK, George (Peggy) White Jr. of Braggs, Darrell (Karen) White of Wagoner, Billy (Linda) White of Fort Gibson, Deanna (Glenn) Aldridge of Fort Gibson, Darla (Ken) Jones of Van Buren, AR; 14 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 12 step-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Gwen Rhoden, Sonja Pennington, Kathryn Cookson; and brother, Tony Cordell.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brothers, Carl Dean Cordell, Jackie Cordell, and Donald Cordell; grandson, Chad White; and great-grandson, Trapper White.
