Anna Elizabeth Ingram Richardson, 77, was summoned to be with the Lord on Friday, Jan. 14, 2005, at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born Dec. 10, 1927, in Rockingham to the late Cleveland and Lelia Stacy Ingram. She was a longtime resident of the Winston-Salem Convalescent Center. She was a faithful member of First Church of God in Christ, where she was the church Mother and prayer warrior. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, godmother and friend to many. A reflection of her living testimony lies in her children. She was preceded in death by a son, Bernard Ingram; two sisters, Juanita Allred and Betty Brown; and two brothers, Reginald and Cleveland Ingram. Her memories will forever be cherished by her husband, John Richardson; two sons, retired CSM Reginald (Barbara) Richardson of Huntsville, Ala., and Pastor Halbert (Rochelle) Richardson of Winston-Salem; four daughters, Beverly (Pastor Leon) Ross of Spartanburg, S.C., Bernita (Pastor Larry) Heron of Denver, Colo., Deborah Davis of Winston-Salem and Mildred (Pastor Dwight) Haygood of Radcliff, Ky.; three sisters, Dorletha Sanders, Geneva Patterson and Lelia B. Mills, all of Richmond County; 25 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a devoted niece, Geraldine Legrand; two goddaughters, Unaree Scaife and Betsy Rhodes; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and her church family, First Church of God in Christ. The homegoing service will be held at noon Saturday, Jan. 22, at First Church of God in Christ with Supt. Tommy Legrand officiating. Entombment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park.
