Jonathan was a soldier in the 5th Company, Third Regiment of Connecticut Troops in the Expedition against Fort Edward, 2 April to 1 December 1756. He served in the Revolution from East Windsor in the Second Connecticut Regiment, Continental Line in 1780 and 178?. He was a land holder at East Windsor and a member of its Church, where various of his children were baptized. He also owned land in Cuba. Seven children. Died suddenly of epilepsy.
