Services for Irene Lavern Faulk will be held Friday May 6, 2016 2:00 PM at Evergreen Cemetery in North Carrollton.
Mrs. Faulk, age 88 died on Monday May 2, 2016 at Signature Nursing Facility in Memphis, TN of heart failure. She was born on July 1, 1927 in Tilton, AR to the late John Thomas and Eunice Smith Yarbro Sr and lived in Waldo, AR for most of her life. She was a long time employee of Wal-Mart where she was a department manager.
Mrs. Faulk was a member of Grey Road Church of the Lord Jesus Christ-Memphis, TN. She was loved and will be missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Faulk, one daughter, Barbara Haddon, both of her parents, one sister Ailene Stripling, and one great grandson Trey Haddon.
She is survived by a son, Jerry Beckwith of Memphis, daughter, Susan Murphy of El Dorado, AR, one brother, John Yarbro Jr of Jonesboro, AR, two sisters, Ruth Nix of Camdon, AR and Betty Williams of Tulsa, OK, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday May 6, 2016 12:00 PM to 01:30 PM at Williams & Lord Funeral Home in Greenwood. Reverend Victor Taylor will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be friends and family. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
