Alice Rose Isenhower, 102, of Cedar Falls, formerly of Waterloo, died Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Stanard Family Assisted Living Center - Western Home Communities in Cedar Falls of natural causes.

She was born December 5, 1913 in Clark, South Dakota, the daughter of Henry Edward and Elsie Marie (Goetz) Benike.

She married Verne Isenhower on May 7, 1951 in Clearwater, FL, and he preceded her in death on February 11, 1975.

She worked as a Caregiver and Senior Companion. She was a member of Kappa Nu Chapter of Phi Tau Omega.

Survived by: one daughter, Carole (Bill) Whatley of Houston, Texas; one son, Tom (Mary) Isenhower of Des Moines; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; one son, Richard Hunger and one brother and sister-in-law Fred (Mary) Benike.

Services 10:30 a.m. Friday, May, 6, 2016 at Kearns Funeral Service Kimball Chapel

Visitation 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 5, 2016 and also one hour before the service
