SMITH, Martha Dee (Daniel-Mantz) all that we are or hope to become we owe to our mother. Our most beloved mother passed from this life to be with Christ on Monday, March 16, 2009.

Dee was born on February 20, 1934 to Agnes and Clovis Daniel in Thrasher, Mississippi.

She was a member of the Trenton Church of the Nazarene and most recently attended Grace Baptist Church with her family. Dee was employed by Swallen's Stores and FACS Inc. She also volunteered for the Butler County Board of M.R.D.D.

The most important job she had though was being Guy's mom. Her life was devoted to him, and to her daughters as well.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Seth Smith and sister, Jean Tulley.

She is survived by her sister, Louise Nesbit of Arizona; her children, Wm. Guy Mantz of Middletown, Joni (Gary) Hollon of Perry, Georgia, Teresa (Donald) Haller, Amy (Jack) Hembree both of Middletown and Roxanne (Joseph) Combs of Hamilton; her grandchildren, Chelle, Jennifer, Todd, Kaitlin, Daniel, Rachel, Jeffrey, Isaiah, and Benjamin; great grandchildren, Andrew and Caleb.

Visitations will be from 12-2:00 PM Friday, March 20 at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home. Services to follow at 2:00 PM, Pastor Roger Green officiating. Graveside burial will be held at Woodside Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Association of Retarded Citizens (A.R.C.) of Butler County, 4418B Lewis Street, Middletown, OH 45044.
