Gretchen Elizabeth Boivin, age 86, of Pembine, WI passed away Sunday, Sept. 4 at Maryhill Manor in Niagara, WI. She was born Aug. 28, 1919 in Menominee, MI, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis (Victoria Brodcinski) DeMeuse.

She married Harold Boivin in Menominee on March 28, 1941 and he preceded her in death in October of 2002. The couple lived in Gillett before moving to Pembine in 1978.

Survivors include a son Pat (fiance, Gina) of Niagara, WI and a daughter Mrs. Bob (Connie) Moe of Hilton Head, SC.;
15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren
and a sister, Marjorie Gutschen-Ritter of Sheboygan, WI.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold; two sons, Harold and Michael and a brother, Joseph.

Visitation will be held at St. Margaret's Catholic Church, Pembine on Thursday, Sept. 8 from 9:30 to 11 a.m. with the funeral mass to follow at 11 a.m. Rev. Michael Betley will officiate and burial will be in the Pembine Cemetery.
