Hazleton Sentinel; Thursday, February 19, 1885:
Yesterday morning William Yeager, brother-in-law of the young man Dauthendey who committed suicide here on Monday, arrived in town and claimed the body. In company with Poor Director Lauderburn he went to Reinhardt's undertaking establishment and viewed the body after which it was decided to have the remains interred here in Vine street cemetery.
The remains were buried this afternoon. They were enclosed in a plain walnut coffin and were conveyed to their last resting place unaccompanied by anyone, deposited in the grave, and the tragedy was ended.
