ADAMS, Bertie of San Gabriel & Houston. Age 90. Died 12/18/1984 in Houston (Harris Co., TX) hospital from major surgery of a few days before. Services were held at Forest Park Westheimer in Houston with Father Rudy Beranekin in charge.
Bertie Mae Dunnham Adams was BORN 10/1/1894. She was married to the late Ted Adams and made their home in the San Gabriel Community for several years in their early marriage. After her husband passed away she moved to Houston to live with her foster daughter, who she and Ted raised from an early age, Billie Hope Desmuke. They also raised Billie's brother, Leonard Earl Desmuke.
