Mr. Elmer I. Agner died July 11, 1991 in a local hospital. He was retired from the Norfolk Southern Corporation. Surviving are his wife, Helen; daughters, Susan A. Agner, Helen A. Franklin; son, Charles I. Agner; sisters, Nell Hanson, Ethel Agner, Gladys Mitchell; brother, Lee Agner. Graveside services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Friday, July 12, 1991 at Sherwood Memorial Park with Mr. Jim Herron officiating. Arrangements are being handled by the John M. Oakey and Son Funeral Home, Salem.
