On April 10 2001, Bobby was murdered by his father, along with his mother and his 12-year-old sister. Firefighters were called to the Fisher family home in Scottsdale, Arizona after it suddenly exploded in flames. The events leading up to the house fire are unclear, but it was determined to be an act of arson. Inside the home were the bodies of Bobby, his mother, and his sister.
The mother had been shot once in the back of the head while the two children had their throats slashed. A real motive for the father's actions has never been discovered, but he and his wife were having marital problems at the time and it is believed that this was a contributing factor to his actions. The father vanished shortly after the discovery of the bodies, and, unfortunately, has yet to be apprehended for killing his family. He was placed on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list in 2002 and is still at large.
