Helen loved planting in her garden and taking care of her animals.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 am to 10:00 am on Friday, May 20, 2016 at St. Joseph Church in Makawao; mass over urn will begin at 10:00 am.
She is predeceased by her husband, Alfred Alencastre, Sr.; son, Alfred Alencastre, Jr.; daughter, Joan Alencastre.
She is survived by her sons, Wayne Alencastre, Fabian Alencastre; daughters, Bernadette (Dennis) Fernandez, Juventus (Kenneth-deceased) Garces, Maxine (William, III-deceased) Appleton; 15 grandchildren; and 29 great grandchildren.
