Born to James and Evelyn (nee Koch) Baker, he served his country in the Air Force as a military police officer, before returning home to work with his father at the Ravenna Casket Co. In his spare time he enjoyed being a grandfather and was an avid gun collector and night watchman.
He is survived by sons, Robert and Shannon (Rebecca); daughters, Linda and Lisa; Skeezicks; grandchildren, Alyssa, David, Autumn, Joshua, Elliot and his beloved Meows.
Interment with military honors at a later date, Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio.
